Delete your Studfolio account
Studfolio is a LEGO collection tracker for Android. This page explains how to delete your Studfolio account and the data tied to it.
Two ways to request deletion
1. Inside the Studfolio app Fastest
- Open Studfolio on your Android device and sign in.
- Tap your profile avatar (top right of the Home screen) to open Account settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Re-enter your password to confirm.
- The app signs you out and the deletion runs immediately on our server.
2. By email If you can't access the app
Email contact@studfolio.net from the address tied to your Studfolio account and ask for your account to be deleted. Please include the email or username you registered with. We will:
- Reply to confirm your identity if anything is ambiguous.
- Delete the account and all associated personal data within 30 days of receiving the request.
- Send a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
What gets deleted, what gets kept
The table below shows exactly what happens to each category of data when you delete your account.

| Your username and display name | Permanently deleted. |
| Your profile avatar | Permanently deleted (file removed from storage). |
| Your collection items (sets and minifigs you added) | Permanently deleted, including quantities, conditions, notes, and timestamps. |
| Any custom collections you created | Permanently deleted. |
| Item photos you uploaded | Permanently deleted (files removed from storage). |
| Your wishlist entries | Permanently deleted. |
| Your layout customization preferences | Permanently deleted. |
| Studfolio Pro purchase records linked to your account | Permanently deleted. Note: this does not cancel an active Google Play subscription — manage that separately in the Play Store, otherwise it will continue to renew. |
| Server access logs | Retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes, then automatically deleted. These logs contain only IP address, request path, response code, and timestamp — they do not include your account contents. |
| Backup snapshots | Encrypted database backups roll off on a 30-day cycle. Your data is purged from live storage immediately on deletion and from the last backup within 30 days. |
Cancel a Studfolio Pro subscription
Studfolio Pro subscriptions are billed by Google Play, not by us. Deleting your Studfolio account does not cancel a Pro subscription. To cancel a subscription:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your device.
- Tap your profile icon (top right) → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select Studfolio and tap Cancel subscription.
Cancel the subscription before deleting your account so you stop being charged. A one-time lifetime purchase cannot be cancelled but can be refunded by Google up to 48 hours after purchase.
